Higher Logic and Kellen Interactive Strike Partnership to Boost Social Networking Efforts

Kellen Interactive has signed a partnership agreement with Higher Logic, the leading provider of social networking software for the non-profit market.

The alliance will boost Kellen Interactive's ability to deliver first-class social networking and collaboration tools to trade associations and professional societies, as well as private businesses. Higher Logic's Connected Community™ software allows users to manage and participate in on-line communities. Out-of-the-box association management system integrations help to eliminate arduous technical implementations so each organization can focus on new program offerings that drive non-dues revenue and member engagement.

"As a leading Association Management Company (AMC), we're constantly striving to achieve the highest in technology and value-added service for clients," said Josh Linard, Business Development Manager for Kellen Interactive, Kellen Company's in-house Interactive services agency. "With rave reviews from clients, Higher Logic is an ideal partner. We look forward to growing with them."

In recent years, an increasing number of associations have leapt onto the interactive bandwagon. Blogs, wikis, forums, RSS and social networking and bookmarking sites have penetrated the modern workplace, thanks to their ability to increase online traffic, enhance benefits and communication, retain existing members and attract prospective members. By utilizing these types of "Web 2.0" technologies, associations can affordably manage projects, update members, track billable hours, recruit staff and communicate with people across the globe.

Higher Logic's products make that communication, member retention and member recruitment easier and more efficient. Built on Microsoft.NET technology, Higher Logic's Connected Community™ can extend any association management system (AMS) so it includes social networking and collaboration tools that allow the membership to self-create content and self-regulate communities. Users can share knowledge, photos and videos, look up records and additions to documents and store messages and Forum discussions. Everything is archived and easily searched.

Through the partnership agreement, Kellen Interactive will promote the sale of Higher Logic's software application to clients across the globe. In turn, Higher Logic will endorse Kellen's custom application and database development expertise, as well as the team's visual design skills.

"Kellen Interactive has a thorough grasp of the value we bring to associations and clients," said Mark Lowry, Vice President of Sales for Higher Logic. "Their history of focusing on technology solutions to drive value-added services and provide additional revenue to members perfectly complements our business model and expertise as the leader in non-profit social networking software."
